About the Job
The Senior Specialist - Technical Architecture plays a crucial role in shaping and guiding the technological infrastructure and strategy of the organization. This position involves aligning technology solutions with business goals and objectives, ensuring that systems and processes are efficient, scalable, and secure. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and business units, to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment of architectural baselines and data capturing capabilities required for the Operational Enterprise Architecture (EA) function.
  • Assist in the overall rollout of the EA function and its operational activities.
  • Collaborate in the development and maintenance of the enterprise architecture strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives.
  • Define and communicate a clear technology roadmap outlining the evolution of the enterprise architecture.
  • Guide the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions, ensuring consistency, compatibility, scalability, and security.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices throughout the organization.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in enterprise architecture operations, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to evolve EA standards and align them with EA objectives through effective planning and requirements gathering.
  • Provide oversight and governance for projects to ensure compliance with architectural standards and policies.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of technology vendors, managing relationships to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture goals.
  • Offer technical leadership and mentorship to IT teams, fostering innovation in architecture and design.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in enterprise architecture.
  • Promote and operate the EA Capability framework and assist in its evolution over time.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the cloud strategy and participate in cloud and AI initiatives aligned with EA directives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; certifications in relevant technology streams are preferred, with Azure and TOGAF certifications being advantageous.
  • A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role, demonstrating a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise systems integration, data architecture, and security principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills capable of influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen attention to detail, familiar with project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
