Associate | Tax | Business Tax

About the Job
During your tenure as an Associate in Business Tax, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

• Develop knowledge of relevant tax rules and regulations and their associated processes to formulate solutions for client problems
• Conduct research and use appropriate facts, analysis, and conclusions to draft technical advice, reports, memoranda, and other deliverables relevant to tax laws and rules
• Recognize the key capabilities required to deliver a high-quality service experience to the client
• Collect, assimilate, and analyze data and use standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions in the Tax and Legal business
• Apply technology knowledge to address client business challenges
• Conduct research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions in which clients operate
• Research and prepare draft client reports under the guidance of senior staff and project management
• Prepare tax provisions using technical skills to accurately complete calculations and follow Firm policies and procedures
• Research tax authority audit/appeals processes and prepare draft reports to be presented before the tax authorities in tax audits/administrative appeals

Qualifications

• Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing). Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).
