Key Responsibilities
As a Director in AI & Data, you will:
- Build a network of business contacts in the Financial Services sector (Banking and Insurance), advising CDOs, CIOs, and CEOs on best practices in analytics and data.
- Combine personal expertise with existing Deloitte propositions in AI and Data Strategy, operational models, analytics, insights, and modernization of data platforms.
- Lead engagements or major modules of large projects, ensuring delivery and excellence in client experience.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on value-generating initiatives.
- Introduce clients to the latest innovations in AI and data to enhance their competitive edge.
- Handle challenging situations effectively and calmly, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Participate in business development, including leading proposal processes and managing client expectations.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree from a top-tier university, preferably in economics, business administration, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related fields; an MBA or relevant master’s degree is highly advantageous.
- At least 14+ years of experience in consulting or relevant professional disciplines, specifically in delivering AI and analytics engagements in the Financial Services sector.
- Proven experience leading large data transformation programs and extensive knowledge in fields such as Data Strategy, Cloud, Business Insights, AI, and Data Governance.
- Excellent business connections in the GCC and a history of developing proposals and managing bid processes.
- Strong program management skills with experience leading teams of 10 or more.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time.
