As a Data Reliability Engineer Intern, you will engage in projects managing our hybrid cloud infrastructures based on AWS and GCP. You will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence while learning to administer and monitor both batch and real-time data processing pipelines. You will collaborate with diverse teams across product, tech, and business verticals to facilitate their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of AWS and GCP cloud for data, analytics, and AI.
- Ensure system availability and compliance with security policies.
- Set up security and stability alerts using tools like GuardDuty, CloudWatch, and Slack integrations.
- Continuously control and optimize costs within budget.
- Maintain recent backups for disaster recovery.
- Administer tools including GitHub, Redshift Database, Data Lake, RDS, Google BigQuery, as well as data visualization platforms (Sisense, Tableau) and ETL platforms (Matillion, Airflow).
- Automate tasks using Python and shell scripting.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and perform EC2 installations, upgrades, and patches.
- Work with DNS, proxies, and general routing.
Requirements:
- Fresh Graduates or Final Year students from top technical degrees such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, SQL, and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with data pipeline and job scheduling.
- Ability to work under pressure with a driven and self-motivated approach.
