About the Job:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist at DXC Technology, you will engage in various responsibilities aimed at enhancing cybersecurity resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments to identify, analyze, and evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified security risks.
  • Assist in the design, deployment, and configuration of security technologies and tools.
  • Recommend and tailor appropriate security tools and technologies based on client requirements and threat landscape.
  • Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on security best practices and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a robust security governance framework, including risk management, compliance, and incident response processes.
  • Conduct security awareness training and workshops to promote a strong security culture.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and industry regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's security posture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles.
  • Exposure to common security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Understanding of security governance frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
  • Ability to interpret security data and identify potential issues.
  • Willingness to learn and apply security risk assessment methodologies.
  • Interest in security solutioning and developing skills in designing and implementing security solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to continuously learn and grow in the cybersecurity field.
  • Relevant internship or hands-on experience in a cybersecurity-related role is a plus, but not required.
