Position

The Solutions Architect will support the Mission Technology Business Unit in developing high-level national security-focused solutions and architecture across the domains of Cyber, Intelligence, Technical Security, and AI for BR technical products. This role will also involve consulting with customers on specific implementations to develop a uniform integrated ecosystem. The Solutions Architect will work closely with internal and external stakeholder teams to ensure comprehensive and robust security measures are in place, addressing both current and emerging threats.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement a security architecture strategy that aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and oversee security architectures for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop strategies to handle security incidents and manage risk exposure.
  • Create and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Evaluate and recommend security products and technologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of security solutions across the domains of Cyber and Intelligence.
  • Work with clients to understand requirements and develop detailed proposals and cost models.
  • Develop bill of materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 5 to 8 years in a security architect or similar role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, COBIT).
  • Strong understanding of network and system security, identity and access management, and encryption technologies.
  • Very good understanding of intelligence capabilities across OSINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of AI and Big Data Technologies.
  • Understanding of integrated command and control.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
