About the Job
The Sr. Associate, Data Analytic and Innovation will play a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance, enhancement, and updating of information security policies, procedures, and standards. This position is tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, which include frameworks such as UAE IA, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Governance: Assisting in the verification of compliance through participation in audits and assessments.
  • Compliance Management: Helping the organization maintain compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Risk Management: Assisting in the identification, assessment, and prioritization of information security risks. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), contributing to risk mitigation strategies, and maintaining the risk register within the GRC platform.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with IT, Legal, HR, and other departments to integrate information security into business processes and providing clear communication to stakeholders on information security matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in information security and aiding in the continuous improvement of the GRC framework.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-2 years in information security, risk management, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Functional Competencies:
    • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and local industry-specific standards.
    • Proficiency in GRC tools and systems such as MetricStream, RSA Archer, or ServiceNow GRC.
    • Ability to conduct basic risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
