As a Sr. Technical Consultant specializing in imagery and remote sensing, you will engage with a diverse range of customers in the MEA region, aiding in the design and implementation of strategies using Esri technology best practices. You will collaborate with clients to understand their geospatial and remote sensing needs. Your role involves guiding customers on selecting appropriate Esri imagery technologies to address their business challenges and implementing high-quality imagery solutions throughout the engagement lifecycle.
You will consult independently and as part of Professional Services teams, helping to optimize workflows utilizing Esri GIS and imagery products. The Professional Services division at Esri is dedicated to delivering transformational solutions to high-profile clients worldwide, supported by a talented group of nearly 1,000 business and technical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to assess their geospatial and remote sensing requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance on Esri imagery technologies.
- Design, implement, and configure imagery solutions for clients.
- Conduct diagnostics and performance tuning of existing imagery workflows.
- Support presales demonstrations and technical discussions with other teams.
- Assist in solution scoping, proposal writing, and cost estimation for new projects.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience in GIS and remote sensing.
- Hands-on experience with imagery and remote sensing software (satellite imagery, aerial photography, LIDAR).
- Proficiency in Python scripting for geospatial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of core Esri GIS products: ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in English.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, or related field.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Practical experience with Esri imagery products.
- Professional experience in AI applications for imagery and remote sensing.
- Proficiency in Arabic (both written and spoken).
- Master's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, or related field.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Proficiency in writing and speaking Arabic is recommended.
