Gathern is a Saudi peer-to-peer vacation rental marketplace headquartered in Riyadh. The platform lets travelers book chalets, apartments, farms, resorts, and other short-term accommodations listed by local hosts across Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 2016 by Latifah Altamimi, initially focused on digitizing the traditionally offline process of booking chalets. Gathern was the first company in Saudi Arabia to be licensed by the Ministry of Tourism for peer-to-peer rentals. The platform lists tens of thousands of properties and reports millions of registered users. In 2025 the company raised a Series B round led by Sanabil Investments. Gathern has stated plans to expand across the Middle East.
