Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Security Engineer - Fortinet who will mainly have specialized expertise in using Fortinet technologies. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Fortinet Firewalls
- Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN software
- SD-WAN implementation and testing
- Routing and switching
- WAN technologies such as MPLS, Leased Line, ADSL, and VPN solutions
- Design and Implementation
- Management & Log Analyzer
Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for in-scope technologies for Help AG customers.
- Plan technical deployments to design and implement network security services.
- Configure and implement new Fortinet firewall products into the live network environment.
- Design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IP networks and interconnected network security technologies.
- Coordinate implementation activities.
- Implement, deploy, and provision managed WAN, IP, VPN, and MPLS solutions.
- Develop bespoke solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Deliver customer solutions as per design/order requirements.
- Liaise with external suppliers to coordinate service delivery.
- Provide timely responses to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
- Handle escalated incidents and consult with other technology support groups as part of problem resolution efforts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Expert knowledge and experience with Fortinet, Forti Manager, and Forti Analyzer; Enterprise Network Security; Cyber Security; and IPS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of complex IP networks and solid understanding of network security technologies, data center traffic flow, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Encryption, Firewall, and SD-WAN.
- Skills in configuring and testing customer services, building and documenting processes, and mentoring team members.
- Familiarity with routing protocols (BGP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS) and testing L3 devices (PE Routers) and CPEs.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and OSI Layer protocol suites.
- Experience with WAN protocols and troubleshooting.
- Background in network operations/security operations.
