Position

As a Field Service Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will install, test, and commission High Voltage products, including High Voltage GIS, GCB, DTB, LTB, and their associated components. Your responsibilities will include:

Executing installation, testing, and commissioning activities at customer sites or Hitachi Energy projects.
Actively participating in site activities, including the testing and commissioning of transformers and related equipment.
Coordinating with the tools management department to manage high voltage tools.
Troubleshooting and rectifying defects in High Voltage products while advising on necessary repair actions.
Leading contractor or sub-contractor jobs and coordinating with customers and back-office support.
Preparing site reports, activity plans, and method statements as necessary.
Adhering to safety and integrity protocols, reporting any incidents promptly.

Your Background:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with high voltage products.
Proficiency in the use of electrical equipment, switchgears, and High Voltage monitoring devices.
Experience with GIS and High Voltage products is preferred.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
