As an Associate Application Developer, you will collaborate with clients to co-create solutions to significant real-world problems. By leveraging best practices, tools, and technologies, you will translate system requirements into tailored systems design and development. We are looking for innovative technologists who are eager to learn frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) as well as backend frameworks (e.g., Node, Java).
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Work across the entire system architecture to design, develop, and support high-quality, scalable products and interfaces for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define technical specifications for generative AI projects.
- Employ IBM's Design Thinking to create user-friendly products that ensure high performance, security, quality, and stability.
- Engage with various relational databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB), operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android), and modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React, Ember.js, Bootstrap, JQuery).
- Create everything from mockups and UI components to algorithms and data structures to deliver a viable product.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Demonstrated proficiency in programming with at least one of the following: Java, C++, Python, Scala, R, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, HTML, SPSS, VBA, Tableau, Spark, Angular, ReactJS.
- Experience with systems design and development, as well as coursework in information technology.
- Exposure to web services, API, and Java application frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with generative AI modeling, ethics, and methodologies.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture, infrastructure concepts, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Soft skills including attention to detail, time management, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; candidates must be KSA nationals eligible to work for 12 months beginning September 2024.

- Ability to maintain and improve code quality and organization.
- Effective communication with stakeholders on technical issues.
- Design and code reusable, scalable services, applications, and databases on platforms like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
