As a Managing Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be a key advisor for clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that differentiate our enterprise security business.

Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and implementing security strategies for our clients. You will work closely with clients to assess their security needs, design robust security architectures, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your role is crucial in protecting clients' critical information and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analyses for client systems.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Design and deploy security solutions, including firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and more.
  • Provide expert advice on security best practices and emerging threats to help clients stay ahead of potential risks.
  • Collaborate with clients' IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
  • Conduct security training and awareness programs for client staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of cyber threat intelligence and experience in threat and vulnerability modeling.
  • Research skills focused on adversary, threat, malware, and testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of malware and patch advisory analysis and recommendations.
  • Understanding of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Experience with risk management and reporting (experience with SIEM is a plus).
  • Ability to provide consultancy on risks associated with specific threat intelligence including malware, actors, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
  • Experience in conducting/leading oral status/technical interchange meetings with technical, management, and legal teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in IT forensics investigations and/or incident response.
  • Compliance, regulatory, and audit experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 6+ years of Threat Intelligence experience (ex-military or law enforcement is a plus).
  • Versatile in collaborating across multiple SoC functions, including Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Forensics, and Research.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for cybersecurity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good deductive reasoning skills and creative thinking.
  • SANS GCIH, GCTI certification is preferable.
