The Data Analyst Graduate Trainee will serve as a central figure in the business intelligence realm within L'Oréal, focusing on sell-in and sell-out insights. This position is crucial in disseminating findings to cross-functional teams to enable actionable plans across the GCC region.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven findings through thorough analysis.
  • Clean and prepare data for comprehensive analysis.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis.
  • Build and test various modeling methods.
  • Communicate and visualize results effectively.
  • Maintain and update existing reports based on routine schedules.
  • Define user requirements and create new reports as needed.
  • Develop tools for effective business tracking of sell-in and sell-out activities, ensuring clarity and timeliness.
  • Integrate current business tools with unique solutions tailored for specific business cases.
  • Continuously seek improved and more efficient data management practices, utilizing new processes or tools.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Prior experience in roles that manage significant amounts of data, ideally linked to real business contexts.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and Microsoft Access are required.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize large datasets effectively.
