Mace is delivering Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services across a significant portfolio of high-value mixed-use developments. These projects are at various stages of the development cycle and require management through planning, design, procurement, and delivery over a multi-year assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a leading advocate for Mace's value of safety first and support exceptional safety, quality, cost, program, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
- Ensure successful delivery of key assignments by providing strategic direction and monitoring aligned with the overall vision and objectives.
- Manage delivery from project inception through design development, contractor procurement, and construction phases according to the delivery program and project milestones.
- Oversee individual and team project management from inception to post-completion, ensuring adherence to project scopes and objectives.
- Lead and manage teams, ensuring communication of project plans and strategies to the team and client.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring project execution plans are understood and adhered to.
- Ensure accurate project monitoring and reporting mechanisms are established.
- Promote Mace and seek further opportunities within client organizations.
- Handle project budgets and financial management, including invoicing and debt collection.
- Be a leader in health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A relevant degree qualification.
- Strong digital knowledge and experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
- Comprehensive understanding of strategic project planning, master planning, and infrastructure development.
- Full knowledge of RTA requirements, TIS, road networks, and civil agreements.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills at a senior level.
- Relevant technical qualifications and experience in the infrastructure sector.
- The ability to manage HR matters in line with Mace procedures.
- Proven expertise in risk management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in project delivery within the consultancy sector.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience in leading and managing large, diverse teams.
- Understanding of sustainability practices in project management.
