About the Job
The Enterprise Commercial segment in Microsoft Saudi is seeking a "virtual Chief Technical Officer" to provide Account Thought Leadership. This role involves leveraging deep knowledge of Microsoft's solutions, industry dynamics, and customer needs while acting as the voice of the customer, industry, and team. The strategist will lead the formulation of technology strategies by aligning customer needs with technology solutions and executing digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include creating mid- to long-term technical roadmaps, translating customer business objectives into actionable plans, and identifying opportunities for growth.

The role requires coaching peers on maintaining opportunities and mapping Microsoft priorities to identified needs. The strategist will lead digital transformation by utilizing corporate resources and collaborating with business leaders to emphasize the advantages of Microsoft technology over competitors. The position includes assisting customer technical specialists in promoting Microsoft offerings, mapping customer technical requirements to technology platforms, and orchestrating necessary teams to establish best practices in account planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer and Industry Insights Expertise: Develop industry sales kits and identify industry partners while understanding market trends and growth barriers.
  • Insights and Recommendations: Combine best practices with case studies to develop recommendations that challenge customers and encourage adaptive strategies.
  • Collaboration and Solutions: Coordinate cross-regional technical teams, addressing broader business challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Customer Technology Engagement: Engage customers to influence technical resources towards business transformation.
  • Enablement and Innovation: Create enablement plans to help customers meet their goals and drive long-term engagement with Microsoft technology.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical consulting, consultative selling, business consulting, or practice building.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in digital transformation or leveraging technology to drive customer business outcomes.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
