Position

Join our team of experienced Sales Specialists to help our most important customers achieve digital transformation with Azure cloud services. Our ambition is to genuinely partner with our customers, aiming for long-term gains while always exploring ways for them to achieve more through technology.

As an Azure Infrastructure Sales Specialist, you will serve as a trusted advisor equipped with both business and technical expertise. You'll orchestrate and lead a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and meet or exceed solution sales and consumption targets for related workloads in your assigned accounts. Your role will involve engaging with senior decision-makers to uncover digital transformation initiatives, developing Azure Infrastructure expertise, and influencing customer strategies for cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and lead conversations with customers on digital transformation in their industry and solution areas.
  • Collaborate with team members, partners, and services to discover, qualify, and build a pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Drive consumption and growth with existing customers by providing demos, quotes, and deployment plans.
  • Assess customer business needs and technology readiness, proposing solutions that deliver business value.
  • Engage senior decision-makers at the customer’s/partner’s business and implement strategies to accelerate deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft Partner Organization to cross-sell and up-sell, identifying and developing new partners based on customer scenarios.
  • Lead and mentor others within Microsoft and act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.
  • Manage the business of your territory, including forecasting and strategic sales planning.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field AND 10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
