Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of software solutions across front-end and back-end layers.
- Architect scalable systems, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain complex web applications using Python, React, and TypeScript, applying modern software development best practices.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers for seamless integration and optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Maintain documentation of code, deployment processes, and troubleshooting resolutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for smooth user experiences.
- Take ownership of the deployment process, monitor systems, and address production issues.
- Participate in strategic planning, defining technical priorities, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficient in Python, and experienced in building robust systems.
- Solid experience with front-end frameworks, especially React and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), build systems, and testing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Understanding of security best practices for securing web applications.
- Experience with Golang and building efficient back-end services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
- Knowledge of microservice architecture.
