About the Job
The primary responsibility of the Security Solutions Architect is to consult with clients and work with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and the architectural vision for complex solutions that address clients’ needs. This role involves providing multi-technology consulting services on all aspects of application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Work within different industry sectors to evaluate, define, and recommend solutions, services, and outcomes in line with cybersecurity domains.
- Leverage expertise in Security standards, laws, regulations, frameworks, and best practices to support security outcomes.
- Identify and develop security requirements, both functional and non-functional.
- Define and manage demos and proof of concept, as well as defining solution specifications for network and infrastructure security.
- Support complex bid responses, partnership models, solution and service strategies, along with detailed pricing models.
- Maintain vendor relationships to ensure an understanding of vendors' product offerings and technological positioning.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Serve as a single point of contact for the sales team at clients regarding new requirements or inquiries in cybersecurity.
- Operate independently to establish methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Work within medium-sized teams and/or work efforts at a client or within NTT DATA.
- Drive security architecture discussions with clients focused on cybersecurity operations and incident response.
- Comfortable with a broad range of security solutions, services, and technologies, with a wide security perspective.
- Have applied knowledge of "Secure by Design" and "Zero Trust" principles.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hold relevant and recognized professional security certifications that support the role.
Required Experience
- More than 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, with at least 4 years in technical solutions and presales in the KSA market.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and comfortable presenting technical topics to small to medium-sized audiences.
- Well-connected with cybersecurity vendors, especially in the Security Operations domain within the KSA market.
- Working technical knowledge of security technologies across various domains (e.g., SIEM, MDR, XDR, Threat Intelligence, SOAR).
- Experience in preparing technical architecture blueprints and responding to large-scale complex RFPs is highly desirable.
- Broad understanding of security trends, threat landscapes, and frameworks such as the cyber kill-chain.
- Preferred experience in Security Architecture Design Principles, Cloud Security Projects, and Cloud Security Concepts.
