About the Job
Oivan is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and Source Code Security Review for modern web and mobile applications. This role is crucial in assisting our clients in securing their digital services. This position primarily requires on-site work at client locations, and fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will engage in various cybersecurity projects with different clients and become one of our application security subject matter experts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for modern infrastructures, web and mobile applications using both manual and automated testing methods.
  • Conducting application source code security reviews across different technology stacks using manual and automated review techniques.
  • Validating and categorizing security findings based on their risk factors and impact.
  • Presenting security findings to clients, illustrating identified vulnerabilities and the corresponding exploitation methods.
  • Collaborating closely with software engineers to conceptualize and mitigate identified security issues.
  • Creating security guidelines, processes, and procedures based on local and global security standards.
  • Engaging with cybersecurity and sales teams on presales activities for new cybersecurity projects.

What You Have
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Technical university education preferred, with experience in web development. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience) is required.
  • Focused experience in application Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), source code security review, and secure software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development technology stacks.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with good time prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working in multinational teams and a strong team player attitude.
