Senior DevOps Engineer

Oivan is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in DevOps tools and technologies, including Linux and networking. This role is ideal for individuals interested in working within an international environment alongside a creative and dynamic team. The primary responsibility will be to work on key projects, providing expertise in automation, pipelines, continuous integration, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain digital solutions on the client’s platform.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to enhance integration between Development and Operations.
• Conduct continuous improvements of systems using CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing at scale.
• Identify and recommend technical solutions for enhancing project delivery and customer experience.
• Facilitate expert training sessions and knowledge sharing with clients and team members.
• Co-create runbooks and playbooks for product and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with several years of experience in agile development and delivery projects.
• Experience within IT and OT architecture is advantageous.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively at both high and detailed levels.
• Technical skills in: Openstack, AWS, Google Cloud, Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), SQL, noSQL databases, data visualization (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus), coding and scripting (Gitlab, Bash, Ruby, Node.js), Gitlab pipelines (CI/CD flow, Helm chart, GitOps), and system automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Extensive experience in Linux system administration.

Language Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
