Reporting into the Director - Sales Consulting, Financial Services for MEA, you will be responsible for supporting our Sales and Account Management team in the Middle East and Africa region. Your focus will be on explaining the value proposition of our product range within our Risk & Finance offerings, covering areas such as Risk Transformation, Finance Modernization, Data Monetization, and Regulatory Reporting.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify customer challenges and position our Risk & Finance solutions to business users and C-level decision makers.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs, meet customers, and follow up for any customer engagement.
  • Deliver successful demonstrations and Proof of Concept for our product range.
  • Collaborate with the sales team in identifying strategy for accounts and regions.
  • Lead opportunities and manage teams of cross-functional experts.
  • Stay updated on local and global developments in Financial Services Risk & Finance.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Risk and Finance functions and present strong business propositions.
  • Take ownership of solution design and architecture throughout the sales journey.
  • Assist sales in business development and pipeline generation.
  • Represent Oracle in industry and marketing events.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Consulting, or Presales, ideally MBA qualified.
  • Strong experience in financial services risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., Basel, IFRS 9, Stress Testing).
  • Experience in pre-sales for a technology company within financial services or in an auditing or consulting firm.
  • Relevant certifications (FRM, PRMIA, CFA) demonstrating expertise in Risk & Finance.
  • Understanding of Finance/Treasury functions and underlying banking processes.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies and AI/ML modeling is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to deliver presentations to CXOs.
  • Ability to travel significantly for client meetings across Middle East and Africa.
  • Proven sales flair to enable consultative and value selling.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic and French skills are desirable.
