Lead Engineer – Architect

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Lead Engineer – Architect to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all phases of detailed design projects under their direction.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Lead Designer and/or Design Director and other team members to lead the analysis, synthesis, and recommendation of conceptual design alternatives for landscape architecture projects, while effectively communicating and promoting the design vision. Key responsibilities include reviewing design drawings for accuracy and compliance, validating design calculations, approving shop drawings, providing field architectural quality assurance during construction, and serving as the primary point of contact with clients. Additionally, the Lead Engineer – Architect will contribute to the development of technical proposals and workflows within the team. Staying updated on industry trends and technologies is also essential for this role.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in architecture with a minimum of 18 years of experience in master planning and urban design, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility. Strong leadership skills, proven experience in managing teams within architecture/engineering firms, and excellent communication skills in English are required.
