This role reports to the Team Lead, Delivery Integrations. As a Senior API Specialist, you will play a key role in developing new and existing implementations of integrations to our partners. Together with your team, you will help the world’s loyalty programs by configuring, customizing, and deploying new integration solutions on their behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical integration planning and pre-sales discussions with loyalty program partners and application developers.
  • Implement new integrations for our Loyalty Program Partners by developing and configuring Points’ platforms.
  • Ensure the solutions deployed are of the highest quality.
  • Effectively communicate progress with your team and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot code and configuration issues in all managed environments (test and production).
  • Manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate to create user manuals and other documentation.
  • Provide support in monitoring production systems for incidents and outages.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Web Services standards, APIs and technologies (e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) management.
  • Strong experience in API system monitoring (e.g., Splunk).
  • Experience in UML diagramming skills.
  • Knowledge of standard Single Sign-On (SSO) flows such as OAuth.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
