Our Infrastructure Technology Team engineers and operates the technology platforms that power Point72’s applications and businesses. Our disciplines span a broad array of technologies from datacenter infrastructure to large scale cloud services, with the shared goal of providing the most reliable, performant, modern technology platforms to improve time-to-market for our business. We also deliver end-user technology solutions to support the evolving collaboration and productivity needs of our global teams. Our team focuses on innovating and challenging the current state of our infrastructure technology in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the face of Technology for the local user base (and international businesses when required) and manage local incident management for technology-related issues.
- Coordinate with customers and other departments to understand local project requirements and develop written project plans.
- Provide hands-on technical support, application support, and insightful advice to clients, including local onboarding support and training on current technology and corporate policies.
- Focus on delivering best-in-class client support experiences, addressing client queries with patience and empathy.
- Educate clients on new technologies and processes to enhance technology adoption and promote self-service usage.
- Manage client expectations and establish service level relationships with local and off-site technology service providers.
- Work with Infrastructure, Application Support, and Development teams to resolve client issues swiftly and provide local support 7 days per week (during local office hours).
- Document and track incidents, issues, and requests using Jira Service Management.
- Assist in new hire onboarding and manage user equipment transitions.
- Diagnose technology issues and create knowledge-based articles.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in client service, desktop support, or a technical support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science or related discipline.
- Previous experience supporting investment professionals in the financial industry.
- Knowledge of market data and electronic trading platforms such as Bloomberg, TT, Tradeweb, etc.
- Familiarity with order management systems and trading workflows.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
- Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service and technology support.
- Capacity to work independently while being part of a global technology team in a fast-paced environment.
