About the Job
Presight is seeking a meticulous and proficient Data Modeler to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and documenting data architecture and modeling solutions that facilitate enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, and other related business interests of Presight AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into robust data models for applications and related systems, and provide expertise in data modeling tools and techniques.
- Coordinate with multiple technical teams to ensure the appropriate integration of functions, identify and define necessary system enhancements, and continuously deploy new products and process improvements.
- Collaborate with business and solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual, logical, or physical data models.
- Analyze source systems to understand the data and develop effective data models.
- Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools for supporting automated data loads, security issues, analytic models, and data visualization models.
- Define and govern data modeling and design standards, best practices, and tools for enterprise data models.
- Review data to identify anomalies that impede the evolution to a future state architecture.
- Prepare documentation for data architecture and maintain a knowledge base for the data structure.
- Engage in the modernization and sustenance of data cleansing and integration support.
- Develop plans for automating and implementing the clean-up of data using existing capabilities or by developing new solutions.
- Map data sources and targets for data movement, thoroughly analyzing to ensure the integrity and quality of all data.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in creating logical and physical data models.
- At least 3 years of experience as a data modeler/data architect in the analytics industry.
- Nice to have: experience with Hive, Python, Erwin, IDA, and Cloud Platforms.
- In-depth market and domain knowledge is desired.
- A passion for constant improvement, innovative and creative problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
