Presight is seeking a meticulous and expert Engineer - Site Reliability to build and support the delivery model that empowers product and technology teams to develop and deliver high-quality products. This role is crucial in improving platform infrastructure and enhancing the reliability of products and solutions. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and establishing the delivery model for cutting-edge, next-gen analytics solutions and services at Presight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for all services in the CI/CD pipeline powering the Presight delivery model.
  • Foster a positive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture that promotes frequent releases, high levels of automation (using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Helm), and software reliability through monitoring tools.
  • Lead and troubleshoot high-priority incidents impacting the organization, providing timely support to quickly resolve critical incidents for Linux-based systems.
  • Identify application patterns and analytics in support of enhanced service level objectives while integrating self-service and resiliency patterns.
  • Review and iteratively modify CI/CD principles and service maturity, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to propose and implement innovative solutions for Presight.
  • Champion SRE practices across strategic systems to predict and prevent disruptions, improving solution availability.
  • Design and enable automated change, release, and upgrade management practices across existing products and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with defined IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
  • Enhance service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes.
  • Analyze service performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide measurable improvement plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-related matters and develop trusted advisor relationships by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Comply with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies, procedures, and plans.
  • Travel to international client locations as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in DevOps operations and deployment, with expertise in Public Cloud (Azure required), Linux, Kubernetes, and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Private Cloud (OpenStack, OpenShift) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps processes.
  • Experience with big data technologies, such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, and Hadoop cluster deployment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in architectural knowledge and understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive international business travel as needed.
