Frontend Software Developer

About the Job: Founded in 2005, Property Finder has transformed from a magazine (Al Bab World) into a leading technology platform across the MENA region. We aim to provide the best tools and user experience for home seekers, real estate brokers, and developers. As one of the emerging unicorns in the Middle East, we have expanded our operations to multiple countries, facilitating over 14 million monthly visits on our platforms.

We are looking for talented Frontend Developers to join our team and contribute to our forward-thinking environment. You will play a crucial role in developing new features and refactoring existing projects, while writing clean and scalable code. We emphasize collaboration and innovation within our international teams, combining the skills of design, engineering, data, and product development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and refactor existing projects in a tech department divided into smaller teams.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute meaningful ideas for achieving objectives and key results.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Excellent Object-Oriented Programming and design pattern skills.
• Proficient in React and/or React Native; comfortable with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Experience with REST web services, and version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Next.js or other full-stack frameworks (e.g., Gatsby).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of backend languages (Java, C#, Python, Golang).
• Experience with AWS Lambda or other serverless frameworks.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred.
