Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) is a Saudi closed joint-stock company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), incorporated in 2018 to develop Qiddiya City. The project was announced in April 2017 as one of Saudi Arabia's flagship giga-projects under Vision 2030. Qiddiya City is being built as a destination for entertainment, sports, and culture, spanning more than 360 square kilometres located southwest of Riyadh. The company is responsible for the development, implementation, and commercial operation of the city and owns the Qiddiya brand. Planned and delivered assets include Six Flags Qiddiya City, the Aquarabia water park, a Formula One circuit, and other large-scale attractions. The development is intended to advance economic diversification, attract tens of millions of annual visits, and create hundreds of thousands of jobs.
