Software Engineer (Java) - Mid/Senior

About The Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer who is eager to make an impact on the global financial landscape. Our Technology team is renowned for building world-class financial features from the ground up. As a Backend Engineer, you will:

• Build mobile APIs
• Develop microservices to evolve our architecture
• Enhance critical systems like risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
• Focus on greenfield development and the improvement of existing systems

Technology Stack:

• Java 17/21
• GCP, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic
• PostgreSQL, Redis
• Spock, SparkJava
• JOOQ, Flyway

What You’ll Need

• Fluency with Java
• 6+ years of experience in backend development
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field
• Quick learner with an ambitious attitude and results-driven personality
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala
• Background in finance
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
• Work experience in a product-focused environment
