We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, overseeing both development and production environments. In this role, you will work extensively with:

  • Linux
  • Containers
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm
  • Ceph
  • Vault
  • Databases (structured and unstructured)
  • Network security
  • HPC

Required Skills:

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator
  • Experience configuring and maintaining a Kubernetes cluster
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Open-mindedness and ability to learn quickly

Desired Skills:

  • Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Ansible, SaltStack, etc.
  • Knowledge of containers and microservice-based architectures
  • Experience with structured and unstructured databases like Postgres and MongoDB
  • Ability to implement and maintain DevOps Security (DevSecOps) protocols
  • Network security and optimization experience
  • Experience implementing CI/CD and testing pipelines like GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, etc.
  • Data science/AI knowledge or interest
  • Programming skills in languages like Python or Julia

This position requires undergoing a security screening in accordance with Saab's internal processes.
