As a Solutions Engineer at Slack, you will:
- Partner with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles across industries, addressing critical business challenges.
- Conduct discovery processes to understand customers' current pains and align solutions to their business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations that showcase Slack's unique offerings.
- Collaborate with customers to design Slack-based solutions that provide significant value and drive business impact.
- Ensure customers are confident in how Slack maintains industry-leading security for their organizations.
- Guide customers through the evaluation process to ensure key business objectives and technical requirements are met.
- Act as a liaison between Product, Marketing, and Sales, providing customer feedback to influence the product roadmap.
Qualifications:
- Recommended 2+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization, particularly focusing on enterprise customers.
- Experience in positioning Slack for software engineering teams and involvement with at least one other line of business or industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- A consultative approach to solving business challenges, with a track record of overcoming technical and security objections.
- Familiarity with the enterprise SaaS ecosystem.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving product and market landscape.
