About the Job
As a Performance Digitalization Consultant at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in driving customer value development by collaborating closely with the sales organization. Your responsibility will involve engaging in strategic-level discussions that foster relationships with enterprise sales, allowing you to present customized solutions aimed at achieving positive business outcomes. You will directly engage with key clients to build and maintain lasting relationships.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Focus on the Performance Management Digitalization portfolio segments.
  • Develop compelling value propositions for key decision makers and stakeholders across complex sales cycles.
  • Promote Value Selling Concepts/Strategies for various products and solutions within the assigned region.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and mobilize the appropriate internal/external resources necessary for closing opportunities.
  • Communicate both short and long-term strategies through detailed account plans to ensure transparency in business development activities within the Middle East Hub.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and order entry goals on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of all customer interactions including opportunities, use cases, delivery timelines, and next steps.
  • Drive key growth initiatives for the business.
  • Conduct market evaluations and analysis to identify competitive threats and opportunities, including win-back strategies.
  • Present findings to management regarding customer status, market conditions, and growth opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in digitalization business development and business solutions.
  • Experience in identifying and articulating executive-level business challenges and value-based outcomes.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles using solution selling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of the power industry, particularly in the Middle East market, and knowledge of customer requirements and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with thermodynamics, plant operations, gas turbines, and water steam cycles in energy processes.
  • Insight into energy management principles, digital twin technologies, and market dynamics associated with power plant dispatch processes.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently while managing personal workload.
  • Experience in an international environment, with English as the business language; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within the region to visit project sites as needed.
