About the Job
We are seeking an expert Project Manager to oversee our Long-Term Services Agreement (LTSA) projects involving aero-derivative gas turbines, small gas turbines, turbo compressors, and their auxiliaries. The successful candidate will exhibit critical thinking skills to resolve complex, non-procedural issues. Compliance with Quality and Environmental Health & Safety standards, policies, and procedures is essential. The Project Manager will support the Field Service team to ensure tasks are completed with minimal downtime while managing the overall budget, profit, and losses of the assigned projects. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive personal empowerment through appropriate signature authorization and target agreements to manage the project like an entrepreneur.
  • Take overall responsibility for project results, aligning them with strategic priorities and establishing goals related to budget, quality, schedule, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS).
  • Lead the project throughout its lifecycle until final acceptance (FAC).
  • Develop action plans and cultivate dedication to key planning elements and breakthrough outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain the Siemens Energy Project and Quality Management Plan.
  • Engage relevant partners during sales and project initiation phases to ensure success.
  • Review contracts to identify risks, opportunities, and obligations, and take necessary actions.
  • Integrate the technical solution with all subsystems and ensure effective execution of site activities.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and manage the acceptance of deliverables.
  • Document all work results and lead acceptance tests.
  • Maintain quality standards and EHS compliance throughout the project, setting ambitious goals for personal and team achievement.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or IPMA-C certification, or equivalent, is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Site Management, Technical Management, or Project Management within the gas service or energy industry is crucial.
  • Proven experience in leading rotating equipment contracts within the Power Generation or Oil and Gas sectors is needed.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools is essential.
  • A consistent track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results under pressure is critical.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within diverse teams that include Commercial Project Managers, Service Parts Representatives, and Contracts Managers.
  • Strong communication and social skills, coupled with efficient learning and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple long-term service program contracts with external customers effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making abilities, and the ability to lead large teams while balancing multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is required.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet project requirements.
