About the Job
As an Analyst in Technical Support at Standard Chartered, you will provide first-level support for mission-critical regulatory applications. You will interact with users, regulators, and vendors to resolve issues, manage changes, and conduct testing. Your coordination with various technology domains will facilitate quicker deliveries, while implementing vulnerability fixes and patches on the application infrastructure will enhance security and functionality. You will also play a key role in managing and supporting bi-annual disaster recovery drills and coordinating with Major Incident Management (MIM) teams to resolve incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Support Manager with regulatory applications.
  • Manage and update processes related to regulatory applications.
  • Collaborate with team members and seniors for effective issue resolution and support.
  • Attend training and development sessions as identified by self or leaders.
  • Provide support to the country technology team related to application support.
  • Manage risk recording and updating in all risk systems.
  • Participate in service review meetings with application vendors.
  • Handle application enhancements and manage related tasks.

Skills and Experience

  • Troubleshooting skills along with stakeholder and change management.
  • Experience in developing applications with proficiency in .NET, JAVA, and Microsoft SQL administration.
  • Essential knowledge of Azure DevOps and understanding of Windows server environments.
  • Familiarity with middleware channels such as MQ, FileIT, and Solace.
  • Competence in log analysis, software configuration, deployment, and SLA management with vendors.
  • Strong technical documentation preparation skills.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with multiple technology domains.
