Position

You will be supported and launched into a banking career on a global scale through our 18-month graduate programme. During the induction, you’ll meet peers and senior executives from across the Bank, creating networks that will support your career growth. Our training programme will enable you to develop your technical, business, and interpersonal skills, using real-world simulations and case studies. Future skill development is a key priority across the programme and your career, as we're committed to changing the way banking works for the better.

By the end of the program, you will be able to:

  • Communicate and simplify the Responsible AI Governance requirements effectively.
  • Understand and interpret regulations and guidelines on the responsible use of AI.
  • Develop strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work with business and functional teams in applying the Standards to their AI use cases.
  • Meet and exceed ambitious business goals by engaging with the Responsible AI Council and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Align AI initiatives with the organization's goals and develop governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
  • Business: Understand Standard Chartered’s business functions and identify how AI adds value.
  • Processes: Write and review content for AIML; develop and deploy relevant AI training content; author risk papers; and provide recommendations for decision-making.
  • People & Talent: Collaborate with project teams, develop training content, and enhance skills in Responsible AI and Data Ethics.
  • Risk Management: Identify and highlight various risks; develop remediation plans.
  • Governance: Maintain awareness of the regulatory framework and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Regulatory & Business Conduct: Embody the highest standards of ethics and compliance with the Group’s Code of Conduct.

Key Stakeholders: Engage with various levels of management across business and functions, including senior leaders in Technology, Transformation, Operations, and Compliance.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Understanding of Data Science principles.
  • Strong customer-centric and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop training and awareness programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be a UAE National with a family book.
