We are looking for a Manager, Engineering - Salesforce (f/m/d) to join our Global Salesforce Tech Team. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of our next-generation platform, expanding our delivery experience to new products such as groceries, pharmaceuticals, flowers, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within autonomous teams.
- Contribute to architectural decision-making and system design.
- Act as a key team member supporting all Local Shop Vendors.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, ensuring their success.
- Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy new features, system integrations, and enhancements.
- Provide ongoing operational support and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
- Extensive experience in system design, development, and support.
- Deep understanding of both administrative and development aspects of the Salesforce platform.
- Expertise in designing scalable, high-performance codebases focused on security and best practices.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Apex Triggers, integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Git, SFDX, and version control.
- Experience developing custom Lightning Components using Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Familiarity with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Case Management, Knowledge, Live Agent, Marketing Cloud, AWS, GCP.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
- Strong understanding of relational databases and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures (REST, SOAP, gRPC, etc.).
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer, Advanced Developer, Architect) are a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Communities, Lightning Experience, and Agile methodologies.
- Passion for engineering best practices, high-quality code, and automated testing.
