About the Job
As a Specialist – Rider Supply & Performance, you will be responsible for the success of our MENA markets in attracting new heroes (that’s what we call our riders) to our fleet, ensuring they fit our strategy and criteria, and are ready to join at record speed. You will develop reporting structures, perform ongoing and ad hoc analyses, derive insights, and make recommendations to foster a performance and data-driven culture among the country teams in the region. You’ll have the opportunity to work regionally across teams and countries, gaining insights into the organization and challenging teams on performance assessment and improvement.
You will embrace a mentality of continuous improvement, possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and thrive in a delivery-focused, agile startup environment. You must demonstrate the maturity to work independently and the wisdom to collaborate, delegate, and escalate when necessary.
What's On Your Plate?
- Provide the right tools to the local countries to meet the rider supply targets for MENA while constantly challenging them
- Analyze performance to identify trends and patterns that inform decision-making and uncover potential opportunities
- Drive the execution of strategies in response to supply challenges while tracking the effectiveness of each approach
- Ensure that riders effectively utilize their actual hours while optimizing operational KPIs
- Understand churn trends and shift picking patterns
- Create monthly reports and presentations to communicate supply findings and recommendations to management
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions
Requirements
Technical requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or similar
- Experience in performance management or strategy development
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL/Big Query
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Sheets & Slides
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, including Tableau, Data studio, and Looker
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in project management and dealing with cross-functional teams is a plus
- BI knowledge is a plus
