Tamatem is an Arabic mobile games publisher headquartered in Amman, Jordan, with additional offices in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 2013 by Hussam Hammo to address the lack of localized Arabic-language mobile games in the MENA region. The company partners with game developers worldwide to publish and localize their titles for Arabic-speaking audiences under a revenue-sharing model, adapting content to local language and culture. Tamatem has published over 50 games on iOS and Android with more than 150 million downloads. Its notable titles include VIP Belote, an Arabic card game. Tamatem is a 500 Startups and Endeavor company and has raised roughly $22.5 million, including a Series B round led by Krafton in 2021.
