The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is looking for a Lead Android Developer to join our Android platform development team. In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing the development of secure and innovative Android applications, ensuring adherence to high standards of security and performance.

Location: Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes within the team. Collaborate with other team leads to ensure alignment across projects.
Android Development: Design and develop secure, high-performance Android applications. Implement advanced security measures to protect user data and privacy. Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and frameworks.
Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications. Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in Android development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Kotlin and native development languages (C, C++).
Strong understanding of Android principles, security fundamentals, and mobile application architecture.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
