The Artificial Intelligence Cross-Center Unit serves as the machine learning powerhouse of TII, driving innovation through the application of artificial intelligence across various sectors including technology, healthcare, cybersecurity, and government.
The focus of this role is on implementing, testing, optimizing, and deploying multimodal generative foundation models with an emphasis on audio modalities. The successful candidate will design and maintain data pipelines, apply generative AI techniques, and establish best practices in software engineering tailored for generative AI applications. Additionally, responsibilities include managing codebases using version control systems, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards, and contributing to open-source initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, optimize, and deploy multimodal generative foundation models focused on audio modalities.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for various applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in generative AI techniques, including familiarity with large language models (LLMs).
- Establish best practices in software engineering as applied to generative AI solutions.
- Stay current with emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks.
- Manage the codebase using version control systems such as Gitlab or Git.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with security and privacy standards, addressing data privacy risks and ethical considerations.
- Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specifications, while supporting open-source and publication efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and deploying AI solutions.
- Expertise in audio-related fields, including but not limited to speech generation, text-to-speech synthesis, speech recognition, and audio-visual learning.
- Proficiency in popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with Docker, MLOps practices, and CI/CD processes for model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
