Senior Machine Learning (AI) Engineer

As a Senior Machine Learning (AI) Engineer at Unifonic, you will be responsible for several key areas:

• Mentoring junior team members by sharing knowledge and advising best practices in machine learning and software engineering.
• Establishing and maintaining robust communication channels with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into Unifonic products.
• Developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms and models while creating and exposing service APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPIs, or other relevant frameworks.
• Staying updated on the latest machine learning research papers and AI trends, such as Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG.
• Collaborating with the data engineering team and others to collect and analyze extensive datasets, extracting insights and patterns in real-time, near-real-time, or batch processing modes.
• Implementing proofs of concept and prototypes to demonstrate potential AI use cases and innovations.
• Building scalable, maintainable machine learning services capable of handling thousands of requests per second, and conducting load tests to meet SLAs.
• Reviewing code from team members and suggesting improvements in line with SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Assisting in project documentation and demonstrations.
• Developing high-level architecture and low-level design for specific projects.
