Middle Backend (Magento) Developer

Vaimo is seeking a Middle Backend Developer in Saudi Arabia to design, develop, and implement advanced eCommerce solutions for our clients. You will be involved in the development of both client-specific and generic modules for Magento, as well as system integrations between Magento and various ERPs, PIM solutions, PSP, and more. Your role includes the development of our tools and frameworks to support a large number of customer installations. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge functionality in Magento, exploring its wide range of offerings. As a developer, you should be persistent, dedicated, and eager to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also need to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and partners, and may require occasional travel to meet with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, test, and document advanced eCommerce solutions for clients.
• Develop customer-specific and generic Magento modules.
• Create integrations between Magento and various 3rd Party systems.
• Enhance our CI/CD platform supporting numerous clients.
• Participate in internal training courses to maintain your skillset.
• Develop solid, reusable solutions.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in the full software development cycle, from planning to deployment.
• 2-4 years of hands-on Magento 2 experience.
• Experienced in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP8).
• Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with knowledge of design patterns.
• Familiarity with web server stack including Apache, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, and Ubuntu Server is beneficial.
• Flexibility to adapt to new processes.
• Ability to estimate and forecast time to complete specified project tasks.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and modern frontend frameworks like React and Next.js.

Additional Advantage:

• Experience in Jenkins, Bash, and Python scripts.
• Knowledge of eCommerce domain.
• Contribution to Magento 2 development is a plus.
