- Designed a robust SQL-based RDBMS from idealization to deployment, creating a centralized, secure data infrastructure that streamlined access, enhanced governance, and scaled with business growth and needs.
- Saved the business significant outsourcing costs by internally developing solutions that could have been sourced from third-party vendors, showcasing both technical leadership and cost optimization.
- Created, Programmed and deployed an automated quotation system that is currently being used by Diamond Health Insurance in Mozambique, significantly improving business acquisition and service turnover time, Directly contributing to over $390,000+ annualized (and growing) in new business growth while improving service delivery and operational efficiency.

Delivering business-critical analytics and actuarial support to guide benefit design, pricing strategies, performance monitoring and provide actionable insights that drive business growth. Conducting in-depth benefit and rate reviews to ensure pricing adequacy and competitiveness for all the products in the business (across multi-currency portfolios – both the USD and ZWG portfolio).
- Participated in Forensic and managed care investigations, detecting fraud, waste, and abuse - delivering material cost recoveries and protecting scheme sustainability.
- Product development and research. Led the successful development of the new Hospital only product portfolio from ideation to commercialization. I also led the enhancement and redevelopment of an existing product named Micromed resulting in improved functionality, customer experience, and market competitiveness. Preparing research proposals and creating business cases (e.g., played a key role in the development of the international product business case)
- Streamlining, automating and optimizing processes, through advanced programming tools and techniques. which led to improved productivity and efficiency (e.g. created a system which increased the efficiency of key client reporting pipelines by at least 25 times and reduced turn around time by 93% and significantly improved the quality of the output).
- Built financial models and performed scenario testing to support fund designs (e.g. the designed the self-insured funds for universities such as the University of Zimbabwe, and the student health insurance fund for Midlands State University Students).
- Designed an AI-powered OCR system to automate the extraction of data from handwritten forms and scanned documents within the membership onboarding and underwriting workflow, significantly improving turnaround times and operational efficiency.
