I am an education professional with seven years of international experience across the Middle East, specialising in academic operations, curriculum development, content writing, quality assurance and educational leadership. I am currently training in AI Governance, Risk and Compliance through the AI Governance Work Experience Programme. My current project examines the governance of AI-assisted examination marking, combining my education background with practical AI risk management and data protection. My work focuses on responsible AI adoption, risk assessment, human oversight and governance frameworks, including European and American frameworks.

Selected Achievements:

Academic Quality Assurance: Led internal assessment moderation and quality assurance activities, supporting consistent application of marking standards, improved assessment reliability and alignment with examination requirements. Appointed as external examiner for students completing senior level exams.

Improved Student Outcomes: Supported multiple students in improving their examination performance from D/C grades to B/A grades through targeted interventions, personalised feedback and data-informed teaching strategies. Also supported a student who achieved a Top in Country award in Kuwait in IGCSE English as a Second Language.

Programme Leadership and Delivery: Designed and coordinated curriculum schemes of work, assessment resources and academic improvement initiatives across KS3 and IGCSE programmes. Undertook additional leadership responsibilities, including KS3 Year Leader, KS4 ESL Lead and acting Head of Department, supporting departmental operations, staff coordination and programme delivery for the duration of my appointments.

AI Governance Project: Developed a practical governance approach for AI-assisted examination marking, incorporating risk identification, human oversight, accuracy monitoring, escalation procedures and accountability controls to support responsible AI implementation.
