Actively Looking for Work
I'm a backend-focused Software Development Engineer II at FIS Global, where I design and build scalable, production-grade systems in the fintech space. My core stack is Java and Spring Boot, complemented by Python (FastAPI) and Node.js for services where speed and flexibility matter. I work extensively across AWS and GCP, taking systems from architecture through deployment, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and clean API design.
Alongside my full-time role, I independently conceived, built, and continue to maintain CodeClock, a developer productivity and contest-tracking app built with React Native, Node.js, Supabase, and Redis. CodeClock has gained meaningful real-world user traction, and building it end-to-end, from product decisions to infrastructure to ongoing maintenance, has sharpened my product thinking well beyond what a typical 9-to-5 backend role demands. It's the project I point to when I want to show initiative and full-stack ownership, not just backend depth.
My foundation goes back to Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT), where I graduated with a strong academic record. I got an early taste of applied machine learning during an internship at Carnot Technologies, where I built a yield-prediction model that achieved roughly 95% accuracy, an experience that taught me how to translate messy, real-world data into something genuinely useful.
Today, I'm actively exploring new opportunities where I can take on greater technical ownership and impact, with particular interest in backend and platform engineering roles in Dubai and the wider UAE. I bring a pragmatic, execution-first mindset: I'd rather ship something solid and iterate than get stuck theorizing. If you're looking for someone who combines strong backend fundamentals with genuine product instincts, I'd love to connect.
