Senior Engineering Leadership

I’m a senior engineering leader with 20+ years building software, including 16+ years at Amazon across Seattle and Bangalore. I currently lead 40+ engineers through managers, with responsibility for organization design, technical direction, hiring, capacity and delivery across marketplace and platform businesses.

Selected Impact

• Reduced time from a seller’s first click to a live marketplace listing by 60% through listing automation spanning multiple organizations.
• Shipped an ML-based seller-growth product that delivered $1MM+ in measured savings during limited launch.
• Helped establish the architecture for Amazon’s FBA Onsite / Seller Flex platform, which later expanded to 1,000+ warehouses.
• Led a shift-left quality model across about 50 deployment pipelines, moving test ownership into development teams and improving time to production.
• Built and led systems across payments, lending, reconciliation, AML/KYC, compliance, risk and seller trust, where reliability and correctness were critical.

My background spans distributed systems, platform engineering, Java, Python, AWS and applied AI/ML. At this stage of my career, my focus is on building strong engineering organizations, making sound architecture and investment decisions, and translating technology into measurable business outcomes.
