I am a Senior Infrastructure and Platform Engineer

and looking to explore potential opportunities for Infrastructure, Platform, or Software Engineering roles in the United Arab Emirates. I currently have 3.5 years of full-time professional experience (excluding internships) working on enterprise-scale technology solutions and backend development with a strong focus on Python.

In my current role, I am part of the Database Middleware and SRE team at Nomura Services India Pvt Ltd, where I have gained hands-on experience with Python, Java, SQL, Linux, Git, Ansible, Terraform, and contributed to large-scale backend systems. While Python is my primary programming language, I have successfully upskilled in Java to support critical legacy applications and was appointed as the Subject Matter Expert for all of our backend tooling that is written in Java.

I have worked extensively with SQL databases, including Sybase, MSSQL, and MySQL, and have exposure to MongoDB and Firebase, with Postgres being newly introduced to our stack. Additionally, I recently played a key role in a 6-month large-scale data migration project from Sybase to MSSQL, which was a big bang migration and was delivered successfully with no post-deployment issues.

Some of my notable strengths include:

• Adaptability and rapid upskilling – e.g., learning Java quickly upon joining and owning major backend components, and learning Power BI within one week to deliver a critical analytics dashboard migration.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale production systems in collaboration with senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of backend system architecture, middleware, and enterprise database environments.
