Senior Manufacturing Manager | 19 Years Experience | CNC Manufacturing, 5-Axis, APQP, Cp/Cpk

I am writing to express my interest in senior manufacturing, industrialization, operations and plant leadership opportunities within the aerospace and advanced-manufacturing sector. With more than 19 years of aero-engine manufacturing experience at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), including my current position as Senior Manufacturing Manager, I offer a combination of aerospace manufacturing depth, operational excellence, industrialization and people leadership.

My experience aligns particularly well with the growing aerospace and defense manufacturing ecosystem. I have led complex CNC and multi-axis manufacturing, DFM and manufacturing-readiness activities, supplier development, process qualification, Lean/Six Sigma improvement, OEE deployment and cross-functional problem solving. My results include a 60% increase in production efficiency through conventional-to-multi-axis CNC migration, 15% improvement in machining efficiency, 10% waste reduction and 12% reduction in production lead time.

I also bring strong exposure to the manufacturing systems and quality disciplines commonly required in international aerospace operations, including AS9100 Rev. D, GD&T, Cp/Cpk, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, RCCA/8D, DOE and process qualification. I have worked extensively with titanium and nickel-based super-alloys and complex aero-engine components such as compressor/turbine discs, hollow shafts and labyrinth profiles. I have also led supplier development and qualification activities and trained more than 50 engineers.

My Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management included an international module in Toulouse, France, with curriculum exposure to Safran, Airbus and Thales. This strengthened my understanding of aerospace manufacturing, supply chain, project management and international operating environments.
