I am a Senior QA Engineer

I am a Senior QA Engineer with over five years of experience in the FinTech sector, having worked extensively within major financial institutions such as Sber and UniCredit Bank. My specialisation lies in the end-to-end testing of complex financial systems. I work across the full stack—from mobile applications (iOS and Android) and frontend interfaces to backend microservices, databases, and APIs. This holistic approach allows me to ensure that all components integrate seamlessly and function securely.

Current Role

A significant part of my current role involves contributing to the Digital Ruble pilot project, a state-level Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) initiative. In this capacity, I am responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the integration between our platform and the Central Bank’s infrastructure. This involves rigorous regression testing, API testing, and working with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) to validate secure and efficient data flow.

Technical Toolkit

My technical toolkit includes:

• Proficiency in:

  • Postman
  • Insomnia
• Database management (PostgreSQL, Oracle)

I work effectively within Agile teams using Jira and Confluence.

Unique Background

My background is unique: before my career in QA, I spent 5 years as cabin crew with Emirates and Etihad, living and working in the UAE and Qatar. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the region, exceptional stress management, and the ability to thrive in multicultural environments. I am now looking to return to the Gulf, bringing my dual expertise in critical financial systems testing and regional knowledge to a quality-driven team.
